SpaceX will fly a Russian cosmonaut to the ISS for the first time – this fall, Anna Kikina, an engineer and the only woman in the Roscosmos cosmonaut corps, will fly to the ISS on the Crew Dragon spacecraft. Besides Anna, the crew will include two astronauts from the United States and one from Japan.
The mission will be possible because of the agreement between NASA and Roscomos on cross-flights. This means that American cosmonauts will be able to fly on Russian Soyuz, and Russian cosmonauts on American rockets.
