The Kingdom of Bahrain granted SpaceX a license to offer Starlink satellite and internet services in the country.

Despite the fact that the population of the Kingdom of Bahrain is only 1.7 million people, and the total annual revenue of the telecommunications sector does not exceed $500 million per year, this is a big step: Bahrain became the first country among the Gulf Cooperation Council to approve a license for Starlink services.

SpaceX set a new record for its fastest Dragon astronaut trip since the company began crewed flights in 2020. The flight took less than 16 hours – about the same time it takes to go from New York to Singapore.
